Synopsis

The outbreak of the L1 virus has had a profound impact on the world. Those who were infected lost all their inherent characteristics except for ferocious aggression, resulting in countless casualties and turning the Prancesco area into an anarchic place.

Lucy, a former student, is attacked by an infected person while on her way home. She manages to escape with Samuel, but little do they know that more danger awaits them.

In a world filled with despair and fear, a helping hand is extended to the desperate girl.

Characters

• Lucas - With the call of [CODE; Dead Ends], Lucas becomes the leader of the civilian task force in the Prancesco area. As a former police officer, he puts great effort into saving the citizens. Though he realizes his limitations, he continues to provide solace to those in despair. With his exceptional leadership skills, he establishes a special force unit known for its outstanding teamwork.
• Owen - Since [CODE; Dead Ends], Owen has been wandering around a ruined city covered in blood. He is an Olympic shooter and excels at accurately aiming for the heads of the infected with a single bullet. Despite his quirky personality that sometimes gets him into trouble, he is usually a fun and friendly entertainer.
• Cale - Since [CODE; Dead Ends], Cale prioritizes subordination over personal feelings when it comes to completing missions in the ruined city. He believes that any threat to security must be eliminated and always strives to bring as many civilians as possible to a safe shelter.
• Samuel - Samuel, Lucy's next-door neighbor, has known her since they were young. He is currently in his first year as an orthopedic surgeon at a prestigious medical school. During a visit to his parents' house in Prancesco, the call for [CODE; Dead Ends] is made, leading him to encounter trouble with Lucy. Despite his occasional clumsiness, he generally remains calm and makes quick decisions, taking the lead in emergency situations.
